Here’s an interesting statistic. In the Transatlantic Slave Trade less than 4.5% of slaves were ever brought to North America. The overwhelming majority were brought to areas inhabited by either the Spanish, or other blacks.

Why is this never taught? Why is it taught as if slavery was only a white endeavor? As if the cruelest, most inhumane forms of slavery were done right here in North America. Why is the same anger not directed at the Brazilian, Jamaican, and Hatian descendents who owned slaves? Less than 4.5% of slaves ever came here, and less than 4% of the population ever owned slaves.

Seems to me like the narrative is designed to single out one group, and shame them…
