Slavery or segregation does not explain why these same patterns occur where there is a concentration of a black diaspora. The same problems(criminality & high unemployment) among black individulas are replicated across the planet. For example in the U.K., aproximately 50% of young black men are unemployed. Also, just like in the U.S., black males are responsible for an overwelming majority of violent crime, despite being a fraction of the population. Another interesting statistic for you, black males make up 6% of the total population of London, yet they account for 2/3 of shootings and more than half of robberies and street crimes in London. 67% apprehended for gun crime were black. Now for Canada: in 1989, While only comprisising of 6% of the population at the time, black people accounted for 82% of robberies and muggings, 55% of purse- snatchings, and 51% of drug offenses. 1989 being the last year for compilation of racial crime statistics in the municipality because black activist groups moved to get them banned succesfuly. Similar statistics occur in many other European countries.

The only issue is that NONE of these countries ever had the black chattle slavery that you describe, nor institutional racism. In fact, all of the black people in the U.K and Canada immigrated to these countries WILLINGLY. However the phenomenom of the widespread and overrepresentation of blacks and violent crime is an understood, if unspoke societal consesus in all these countries.

Police brutality & BLM: Since there is such a concentration of criminal violence in minority communities means that officers will be disproportionately confronting armed and often resisting suspects in those comunities, raising officers’ own risk of using lethal force.
Institutional racism: Police kill double the amount of white people than they killed blacks last year. Also, Black and Hispanic police officers are more likely to fire a gun at blacks than white officers, according to a Department of Justice report. Blacks are also more likely to kill cops than be killed by cops. 40% of all cop killers in the U.S., are black. Surely that disrupts your narrative of all cops are racist. I am not sympathyzing with bad cops, just pointing out facts.

Moreover, the dramatic rise of black crime did not occur during jim crow and segregation, but actually during the after math of the civil rights movement. Black crime then reached its zenith not in the segregated south but the more developed north. hmm…

The cities in the U.S. with the most black crime: Detroit, Baltimore, New Orleans, are all headed by blacks- their mayors, police chiefs, district attorneys, almost all their officials are black. Where is the institutional racism there?

One issue cannot be ignored, 90 percent of black murder victims per year are killed by black perpetrators. This is an issue amongst the black community. Blacks are not murdering themselves because “U.S. is racist”. It is most likely, primarily a cultural problem, the destruction of the family, and the untold damage that a high rate of fatherlessness has had on the black community. All of this is tragic to not only black Americans, but ALL Americans. Groups like BLM and the media try to obfuscate the reality of the cultural breakdown within our communities. How can the U.s. begin to repair something that nobody wants to speak about honestly, for fear of being called a racist?

Whitey isn’t rubbing his hands in a dark corner plotting to put you and the black community down. ANY individual can work hard and succeed. Its time to stop pointing fingers.
